Frontier 224: Cox Assblasts for Gigablast
Bryan Black
Bitcoin price drop
Cox Communications has a Gigabit internet service called Gigablast...
Cox Communications charged an extra $90 in December... And it cost > $220 in Cox communication fees for exceeding a 1TB bandwidth limit in January.
All Cox Internet plans include 1 TB (1024 GB) per month of data usage. Unlimited and 500 GB Additional Data Plans can be added for an additional monthly charge. Data usage in excess of plan may result in a $10 charge for up to 50 GB of additional data and for each additional 50 GB block.
At the time of this writing there is no information on their website regarding "Unlimited and 500 GB Additional Data Plans". Bryan is getting assblasted by Cox in bandwidth usage fees.
Most of the 1TB in January and December was used in downloading a couple hundred gigs in games from Steam and restoring from cloud backups.
Bryan Black made a torrent archive of all 1000 No Agenda episodes. It cost $200 to webseed 2TB of bandwidth in 7 days.
